Welcome to the Twos!
Our two year old classes are busy places! Children are playing in centers: dramatic play, books, manipulatives, blocks and attending music and fitness specials. At this age, they also begin attending weekly Celebration in the Children's Ministry Area Gathering Space. Teachers plan many opportunities throughout the day for children to engage in activities that foster independence – “I do it!”
Children continue to be exposed to a print rich environment. This is the year you may hear “That’s my name!” when they recognize the first letter of their name.
