About the Parents' Association Board 2023-2024
The Parents' Association Board works closely with the Day School Director, Parents and Church Leadership to promote and maintain the highest quality of education and care of our young children. This group meets throughout the school year for the purpose of advising the Day School Director and HPUMC Leadership on various issues brought before it for consideration, overseeing the activities of the Parents’ Club (PC), and overseeing fundraising activities and school gifts.
The Parents' Association oversees the Family Giving Campaign, which is the primary annual fundraising activity that supports teacher appreciation activities, the Teacher Assistance Program (financial support for those experiencing a hardship), fellowship activities of the Parents' Club. Additionally, the Family Giving Campaign supports the school by funding educational materials, playground and safety equipment, and enrichment activities that are not already funded by the Day School operating budget (parent tuition). All of these activities are reviewed and approved by the Parents' Association Board.
